Cancellation policy & cancellation form

Consumers have a right of withdrawal in accordance with the following conditions, whereby consumers are any natural person who concludes a legal transaction for purposes which cannot be attributed predominantly to their commercial or self-employed professional activity:

Right of withdrawal

You have the right to withdraw from this contract within 30 days without giving reasons.

The withdrawal period is 30 days from the day on which you or a third party designated by you, who is not the carrier, took possession of the last goods.

In order to exercise your right of withdrawal, you must inform us (travelite GmbH & Co. KG, Merkurring 70–72, 22143 Hamburg, Germany, Tel.: +49(0)40-642154-888, Fax: +49(0)40-642154-215, E-mail: kundenservice@travelite.com) by means of a clear declaration (e.g. a letter sent by post, fax or e-mail) of your decision to withdraw from this contract. You can use the attached withdrawal form template, but this is not mandatory.

In order to comply with the withdrawal period, it is sufficient for you to send the notification of exercise of the right of withdrawal before the end of the withdrawal period.

Consequences of withdrawal

If you withdraw from this contract, we must refund all payments that we have received from you, including the delivery costs (with the exception of the additional costs resulting from your choice of a different type of delivery than the cheapest standard delivery offered by us), immediately and no later than fourteen days from the day on which we received the notification of your withdrawal from this contract. We will use the same means of payment that you used for the original transaction for this repayment, unless expressly agreed otherwise with you; in no case will you be charged fees for this repayment. We may refuse repayment until we have received the goods back or until you have provided proof that you have returned the goods, whichever is the earlier.

You must return or hand over the goods to us immediately and in any case no later than fourteen days from the day on which you inform us of your withdrawal from this contract. The deadline is met if you send the goods before the expiry of the fourteen-day deadline.

We will bear the cost of returning the goods.

You only have to pay for any loss of value of the goods if this loss of value is due to handling of the goods that is not necessary for checking the nature, characteristics and functioning of the goods.

General information

1) Please avoid damage to and contamination of the goods. Please return the goods to us in their original packaging with all accessories and packaging components. If necessary, use protective outer packaging. If you no longer have the original packaging, please use suitable packaging to ensure sufficient protection against transport damage.
2) Please do not return the goods to us freight collect.
3) Please note that the aforementioned sections 1–2 are not a prerequisite for the effective exercise of the right of withdrawal.
