Warranty

travelite products are carefully manufactured to the highest quality standards and are subject to constant quality checks. The raw materials and accessories are also rigorously tested before use. However, if there is a reason for complaint, we provide a 2-3-year warranty (please refer to the respective warranty certificate for details). During this warranty period, we will eliminate all defects resulting from material or manufacturing faults, free of charge, either by repairing or replacing the product. This warranty is in addition to your statutory rights, including your statutory warranty rights, and we are happy to give it to you. Even though we hope you never have to claim on it.

Warranty provisions in detail

Depending on the product, travelite provides a 24-36-month warranty from the valid purchase date. The warranty can be claimed in all countries where a travelite product has been sold authorised by us. During this warranty period, we will eliminate all defects resulting from material or manufacturing faults, free of charge, either by repairing or replacing the product Any statutory warranty claims of the purchaser are not limited by this warranty, but can be asserted against the respective dealer (Seller) independently of this warranty. The warranty covers only material defects and defects caused by poor workmanship and is limited to the product value. Damage resulting from improper handling, normal wear and tear, or improper use by third parties, is not covered by this warranty. The warranty is only valid upon presentation of the proof of purchase. In the event of valid warranty claims, the obligation to repair can be waived in favour of exchange at travelite’s discretion. Further compensation claims of any kind are excluded. In the event of valid warranty claims for items no longer included in the range, travelite reserves the right to provide a comparable replacement.

A warranty card is integrated into the travelite product label. The completed, stamped warranty card, together with the proof of purchase (invoice or receipt), serves as proof of purchase for the warranty and must be kept. If no warranty card has been attached to the product in question, only the dealer’s proof of purchase (invoice or receipt) serves as proof of purchase for the warranty.

Notes and recommendations

We would like to share the following recommendations with you: After each trip, check all your luggage immediately in the baggage claim (if necessary before passing through customs clearance) for damage. If you discover transport damage, immediately complain verbally and in writing to your carrier’s information desk (airline, shipping company, bus operator, etc.) and also have this damage confirmed in writing. If you report any damage immediately to the responsible carrier, you can generally expect quick and generous settlement. In order to successfully assert your claims, your friendly specialist dealer will certainly also help you to prepare an expert opinion/cost estimate. We also recommend that you take out additional luggage insurance if possible.

The production of travelite products is subject to constant controls. The respective raw materials and accessories are also strictly checked before they are used. However, should you have any reason to complain about a travelite product, please note the following:
